[806] Through the condition of not relinquishing when admonished up to the third time (yāvatatiyaṃ samanubhāsanā), how many offenses (āpatti) does one commit?
Through the condition of not relinquishing when admonished up to the third time, one commits five offenses: A bhikkhunī who follows a suspended bhikkhu (ukkhittānuvattikā) does not relinquish when admonished up to the third time — at the motion (ñatti), an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); at the two proclamations (kammavācā), offenses of grave transgression (thullaccaya); at the conclusion of the proclamation, an offense of defeat (pārājika). A bhikkhunī who follows a schismatic (bhedānuvattikā) does not relinquish when admonished up to the third time — an offense entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa). One does not relinquish an evil view when admonished up to the third time — an offense of expiation (pācittiya).
Through the condition of not relinquishing when admonished up to the third time, one commits these five offenses.
