[817] A bhikkhunī who urges [other bhikkhunīs], saying: "Ladies (ayye), do dwell in association; do not dwell separately" — through the condition of not relinquishing [that course] upon being admonished (samanubhāsanā) up to the third time, falls into three offenses (āpatti): at the motion (ñatti), an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); at the two proclamations of the act (kammavācā), offenses of grave transgression (thullaccaya); at the conclusion of the proclamation of the act, an offense entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa).
