[818] On account of asking for curds (dadhi) and eating them, how many offenses (āpatti) does one commit? On account of asking for curds and eating them, one commits two offenses: [1] he receives it, thinking, "I shall eat" — an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); for every mouthful swallowed — an offense to be acknowledged (pāṭidesanīya). On account of asking for curds and eating them, one commits these two offenses.
