[819] Because of consenting to bodily contact (kāyasaṃsagga) as the condition, how many of the four failures (vipatti) do the offences (āpatti) partake of? Because of consenting to bodily contact as the condition, the offences partake of two of the four failures: sometimes failure in virtue (sīlavipatti), sometimes failure in conduct (ācāravipatti). … Because of eating curds having asked for them as the condition, how many of the four failures do the offences partake of? Because of eating curds having asked for them as the condition, the offences partake of one of the four failures: failure in conduct. The Section on Failure (Vipattivāra), the third, is finished.
