[974] There is an offence (āpatti) that one commits at the right time (kāla), not at the wrong time (vikāla); there is an offence that one commits at the wrong time, not at the right time; there is an offence that one commits both at the right time and at the wrong time; there is an offence that one commits neither at the right time nor at the wrong time.
There is that which, having been received (paṭiggahita), is allowable at the right time, not at the wrong time; there is that which, having been received, is allowable at the wrong time, not at the right time; there is that which, having been received, is allowable both at the right time and at the wrong time; there is that which, having been received, is allowable neither at the right time nor at the wrong time.
There is an offence that one commits in the border regions, not in the middle region; there is an offence that one commits in the middle region, not in the border regions; there is an offence that one commits both in the border regions and in the middle region; there is an offence that one commits neither in the border regions nor in the middle region.
There is that which is allowable in the border regions, not in the middle region; there is that which is allowable in the middle region, not in the border regions; there is that which is allowable both in the border regions and in the middle region; there is that which is allowable neither in the border regions nor in the middle region.
There is an offence that one commits inside, not outside; there is an offence that one commits outside, not inside; there is an offence that one commits both inside and outside; there is an offence that one commits neither inside nor outside.
