Offense (āpatti), the classes of offenses (āpattikkhandhā), cases decided (vinīta), and with the immediately-resulting (ānantarika);
persons, and cutting (chedanā); commits, and conditions (paccayā);
does not undergo, and undergoes; what is allowable, the one under suspicion, and oil;
fat, loss, and success; allayment (passaddhi), and by the person;
the charnel-ground (rag-robe), and that chewed by cattle; theft, and one is called a thief;
not to be given away (avissajjiya), not to be divided (avebhaṅgiya); (offenses) arising from the body, and from body and speech;
requiring confession (desanāgāminī); the Saṅgha, the recitations (of the Pātimokkha); the border regions, and with the kaṭhina;
formal acts (kamma), and those (offenses) up to the third announcement (yāvatatiyaka); pārājika, thullaccaya, dukkaṭa;
the unallowable and the allowable; (gifts) devoid of merit, and things hard to dispel;
sweeping, and others besides; speech, and offense itself;
legal issue (adhikaraṇa), grounds, motion (ñatti); offense, and both (Pātimokkhas);
these — the light (offenses) and the eighth — know them as the dark and the bright.
The forest(-dweller), and alms-food; the rag-robe, tree-root, and charnel-ground (dwellers);
the open air, and the (triple) robe; house-to-house, and the sitter;
(the lodging) as assigned, and the refuser of later food; and the bowl-food eater;
uposatha, pavāraṇā, and offense and non-offense —
these terms of dark and bright hold likewise for the bhikkhunīs too.
The uninspiring and the inspiring, and likewise two others;
the frequenter of families, beyond the proper time; seed, and what is made allowable for ascetics;
purity (visuddhi), and others besides; (the benefits of mastering) the Vinaya, and the unrighteous (suspensions),
and likewise the righteous have been declared.
