[997] **Summary (uddāna):**
Not that bhikkhu, and others too,
corruption (of families) up to the third admonition (yāvatatiya);
the matrices (mātikā), the withdrawal of the kaṭhina,
drinks, and by one who is overcome;
worldly conditions, the heavy rules (garudhamma),
the offenses to be acknowledged (pāṭidesanīya), false speech;
the Uposatha and the qualities of a messenger,
the sectarians, and the ocean too;
the astonishing things, what is not left over,
what is left over, that which entails forfeiture (nissaggiya);
pārājika, the eighth ground,
not confessed, and full ordination (upasampadā);
rising up and a seat as well,
a boon, and by the exhorter (of bhikkhunīs);
the benefits, the supreme things,
conduct in the eight dhammas;
the non-Dhamma and the Dhamma (suspensions) —
the Eights are well proclaimed.
