[305] "Poṭṭhapāda, I teach the Dhamma also for the abandoning of the acquisition of a formless self (attapaṭilābha): 'When you practice accordingly, defiling qualities (saṃkilesikā dhammā) will be abandoned, cleansing qualities (vodāniyā dhammā) will increase, and you will, having realized it for yourselves with direct knowledge (abhiññā) in this very life, enter upon and dwell in the fullness and abundance of wisdom.' … And there will be gladness (pāmujja), rapture (pīti), tranquility (passaddhi), mindfulness and clear comprehension, and a blissful dwelling."
