[80] Bhikkhus, as to those ascetics and brahmins who are endless equivocators (amarāvikkhepikā), who, when questioned on this or that point, resort to verbal equivocation, to endless equivocation, on four grounds — that they should experience that apart from contact (phassa): such a thing is impossible.
