[87] Bhikkhus, as for those ascetics and brahmins who are proponents of Nibbāna in this very life (diṭṭhadhammanibbānavādā), who declare ultimate Nibbāna in this very life for an existing being on five grounds — that they should indeed experience it apart from contact (phassa): such a thing is not possible.
