[88] Therein, bhikkhus, as for those ascetics and brahmins who are speculators about the future (aparantakappikā), holding views concerning the future, who assert various propositions of conviction (adhimuttipadāni) with reference to the future on forty-four grounds — that they should experience this apart from contact (phassa): such a thing is impossible.
