[76] Therein, bhikkhus, as for those ascetics and brahmins who are theorists about the past (pubbantakappikā), theorists about the future (aparantakappikā), and theorists about both the past and the future, who hold views concerning the past and the future and, with reference to the past and the future, assert various doctrinal propositions (adhimuttipadāni) on sixty-two grounds — that too is conditioned by contact (phassa).
