[434] A man sends a bhikkhu, saying: "Go, venerable sir, tell the woman named so-and-so, protected by her mother: 'They say you are to become the wife, bought with money, of the man named so-and-so.'" He accepts, inquires, and reports back: an offense entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa).
