[439] A man sends a bhikkhu: "Go, venerable sir, tell the woman of such-and-such a name who is protected by her sister and the one protected by her relatives … the one protected by her sister and the one protected by her clan … the one protected by her sister and the one protected by dhamma … the one protected by her sister and the one under protection (sārakkhā) … the one protected by her sister and the one subject to a penalty (saparidaṇḍā) … the one protected by her sister and the one protected by her mother … the one protected by her sister and the one protected by her father … the one protected by her sister and the one protected by her mother and father … the one protected by her sister and the one protected by her brother: 'It is said, may you be the wives bought with wealth (dhanakkītā) of the man of such-and-such a name.'" He accepts, he inquires, he reports back: an offense entailing saṅghādisesa.
