[461] A man sends a bhikkhu, saying: "Go, venerable sir, say to the woman of such-and-such a name, one protected by threat of punishment (saparidaṇḍā): 'Be, so it is said, the wife of the man of such-and-such a name — both a wife by consent (chandavāsinī) and a wife for the sake of wealth (bhogavāsinī); both a wife by consent and a wife for the sake of cloth (paṭavāsinī); … both a wife by consent and a momentary wife (muhuttikā); both a wife by consent and one bought with money (dhanakkītā).'" He accepts [the errand], he inquires, he brings back the reply — an offence of saṅghādisesa.
