[460] A man sends a bhikkhu, saying: "Go, venerable sir, and say to the woman of such-and-such a name, one protected by a penalty (saparidaṇḍā): 'Be, it is said, the wife of the man of such-and-such a name — both a wife bought with money (dhanakkītā) and one who lives together by choice (chandavāsinī).'" He accepts, he inquires, he reports back: an offense entailing saṅghādisesa.
