[482] A woman protected by her mother (māturakkhitā) sends a bhikkhu, saying, "Go, venerable sir, and say to the man of such-and-such a name: 'I would be the wife of the man of such-and-such a name — a wife bought with money (dhanakkītā) and a wife who lives with him by her own choice (chandavāsinī).'" He accepts the errand, conveys the message, and brings back the reply: an offense of saṅghādisesa.
