[483] A woman protected by her father sends a bhikkhu. A woman protected by her mother and father sends a bhikkhu. A woman protected by her brother sends a bhikkhu. A woman protected by her sister sends a bhikkhu. A woman protected by her relatives sends a bhikkhu. A woman protected by her clan sends a bhikkhu. A woman protected by the dhamma sends a bhikkhu. A woman under a husband's protection (sārakkhā) sends a bhikkhu. A woman protected by a penalty (saparidaṇḍā) sends a bhikkhu, saying: "Go, venerable sir, say to so-and-so: 'I would be the wife of so-and-so — a wife bought with money (dhanakkītā).'" He accepts, he inquires, he reports back: an offence entailing saṅghādisesa.
