[471] The mother of a woman protected by her mother sends a bhikkhu, saying: "Go, venerable sir, tell the man named so-and-so: 'May so-and-so be the wife of the man named so-and-so — both a temporary wife (muhuttikā) and a wife bought with wealth (dhanakkītā)' … 'both a temporary wife and a wife taken under the flag (dhajāhaṭā).'" He accepts, inquires, and reports back: an offense entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa).
The single-rooted (ekamūlaka) section is finished.
In the same way the two-rooted, up to the nine-rooted, should be elaborated.
This is the ten-rooted (dasamūlaka).
