[506] A site "involving harm" (sārambhaṃ) means: it is an abode of ants, or an abode of termites, or an abode of rats, or an abode of snakes, or an abode of scorpions, or an abode of centipedes, or an abode of elephants, or an abode of horses, or an abode of lions, or an abode of tigers, or an abode of leopards, or an abode of bears, or an abode of hyenas, or an abode of any animals whatsoever; or it is adjacent to a field of grain, or adjacent to a field of pulses and vegetables, or adjacent to a place of execution, or adjacent to a place of torture, or adjacent to a charnel ground, or adjacent to a pleasure park, or adjacent to royal property, or adjacent to an elephant stable, or adjacent to a horse stable, or adjacent to a prison, or adjacent to a tavern, or adjacent to a slaughterhouse, or adjacent to a carriage road, or adjacent to a crossroads, or adjacent to a public meeting hall, or adjacent to a thoroughfare — this is called a site "involving harm."
