[586] **"And the bhikkhu admits his fault" (bhikkhu ca dosaṃ patiṭṭhāti)** means: "What I said was empty; what I said was false; what I said was untrue; what I said was said by me without knowing."¹ ¹ [Editorial footnote of the Siam Raṭṭha edition:] "This reading is not found in all (editions)." **"Saṅghādisesa"** means: … [the stock word-definition is elided in the Pali itself with "(pe)"] … therefore, too, it is called "saṅghādisesa."
