He has heard of him: "He has committed (ajjhāpanno) a pārājika offense"; yet he is doubtful about what was heard, does not credit what was heard, does not remember what was heard, has forgotten what was heard. If he accuses him: "You were heard of by me and suspected …"; "You were heard of by me and seen …"; "You were heard of by me, suspected, and seen: you have committed a pārājika offense …"
He suspects of him: "He has committed a pārājika offense"; yet he is doubtful about what was suspected, does not credit what was suspected, does not remember what was suspected, has forgotten what was suspected. If he accuses him: "You were suspected by me and seen …"; "You were suspected by me and heard of …"; "You were suspected by me, seen, and heard of: you have committed a pārājika offense; you are not an ascetic, you are not a son of the Sakyans; there is no uposatha, no pavāraṇā, no act of the Saṅgha (saṅghakamma) together with you" — there is an offense of saṅghādisesa with each and every utterance (vācāya vācāya).
