[367] Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling at Rājagaha, in the Bamboo Grove (Veḷuvana), the squirrels' feeding ground (Kalandakanivāpa). Now on that occasion the wanderer (paribbājaka) Sakuludāyi was residing in the wanderers' park at the peacocks' feeding ground (Moranivāpa), together with a large assembly of wanderers. Then the Blessed One, having dressed in the morning and taking his bowl and robe, entered Rājagaha for alms. Then it occurred to the Blessed One: "It is still too early to walk for alms in Rājagaha. Suppose I were to approach the wanderer Sakuludāyi at the wanderers' park, the peacocks' feeding ground." Then the Blessed One approached the wanderers' park, the peacocks' feeding ground.
