[149] And how, bhikkhus, does a true person (sappurisa) have the action of a true person? Here, bhikkhus, a true person abstains from the destruction of life, abstains from taking what is not given, and abstains from misconduct in sensual pleasures. Thus, bhikkhus, a true person has the action of a true person.
