Taruṇarukkhasutta

[212] He was dwelling at Sāvatthī. … There the Blessed One … "Bhikkhus, in one who dwells contemplating gratification (assāda) in things that are the basis for fetters (saññojaniyesu dhammesu), craving (taṇhā) increases. With craving as condition, clinging (upādāna) [comes to be] … Thus is the origin of this whole mass of suffering (dukkha)."
