[330] "So too, bhikkhus, for a noble disciple (ariyasāvaka), a person accomplished in view (diṭṭhisampanna) who has made the breakthrough (abhisametāvī), the suffering (dukkha) that has been destroyed and exhausted is by far the greater; what remains is trifling. It does not amount to a hundredth part, does not amount to a thousandth part, does not amount to a hundred-thousandth part, when compared to the former mass of suffering that has been destroyed and exhausted — that is, [for one whose] maximum is seven more existences (sattakkhattuparamatā). Of such great benefit, bhikkhus, is the breakthrough to the Dhamma (dhammābhisamaya); of such great benefit is the obtaining of the eye of the Dhamma (dhammacakkhu)."
