[391] Dwelling at Sāvatthī … There the Blessed One … "Bhikkhus, it is by way of elements (dhātu) that beings come together and converge: those without faith (assaddhā) come together and converge with those without faith; those without moral shame (ahirikā) come together and converge with those without moral shame; those without moral dread (anottāpino) come together and converge with those without moral dread; the immoral (dussīlā) come together and converge with the immoral; the unwise (duppaññā) come together and converge with the unwise. Those with faith (saddhā) come together and converge with those with faith; those with moral shame (hirimanā) come together and converge with those with moral shame; those with moral dread (ottāpino) come together and converge with those with moral dread; the virtuous (sīlavanto) come together and converge with the virtuous; the wise (paññavanto) come together and converge with the wise."
