[390] Dwelling at Sāvatthī ... There the Blessed One ... "Bhikkhus, it is by way of elements (dhātu) that beings flow together and come together. Those without faith (saddhā) flow together and come together with those without faith; the shameless flow together and come together with the shameless; those without fear of wrongdoing flow together and come together with those without fear of wrongdoing; the unconcentrated flow together and come together with the unconcentrated; the unwise flow together and come together with the unwise. Those with faith flow together and come together with those with faith; those with moral shame flow together and come together with those with moral shame; those with fear of wrongdoing flow together and come together with those with fear of wrongdoing; the concentrated flow together and come together with the concentrated; the wise flow together and come together with the wise."
