[461] This is what the Blessed One said. Having said this, the Sublime One (Sugata), the Teacher, further said this:
Pācīnavaṃsa of the Tivaras, Vaṅkata of the Rohitassas,
Supassa of the Suppiyas, and Vepulla of the Māgadhans:¹
Impermanent indeed are formations (saṅkhārā),
having the nature of arising and passing away;
having arisen, they cease —
their stilling is bliss.

Its summary (uddāna):
The Poor and the Happy,
the Thirty, Mother, and by Father,
Brother, Sister, and Son,
Daughter, and Mount Vepulla.
