[371] "But, Rādha, whatever ascetics or brahmins understand as it really is (yathābhūta) the gratification (assāda), the danger (ādīnava), and the escape (nissaraṇa) in regard to these five aggregates subject to clinging (upādānakkhandhā) — those ascetics or brahmins, Rādha, are indeed reckoned as ascetics among ascetics and reckoned as brahmins among brahmins; and those venerable ones, having realized it for themselves with direct knowledge (abhiññā), in this very life enter upon and dwell in the goal of asceticism and the goal of brahminhood."
