Gaṅgādipeyyālahaṅaiddhibādasaṅyuta

[1249] Bhikkhus, just as the river Gaṅgā slants toward the east, slopes toward the east, inclines toward the east, so too, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu developing the four bases of spiritual power (iddhipāda), making much of the four bases of spiritual power, slants toward Nibbāna, slopes toward Nibbāna, inclines toward Nibbāna.
