[1100] Bhikkhus, just as the river Gaṅgā slants toward the east, slopes toward the east, inclines toward the east, even so, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu developing the five powers (bala), cultivating the five powers, slants toward Nibbāna, slopes toward Nibbāna, inclines toward Nibbāna.
