[401] Bhikkhus, just as whatever rafters there may be in a peaked house all slant toward the peak, incline toward the peak, slope toward the peak, so too, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu developing the seven factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga), cultivating the seven factors of awakening, slants toward Nibbāna, inclines toward Nibbāna, slopes toward Nibbāna.
