[263] One who is fully ordained (upasampanna), having heard it from one who is fully ordained, conveys malicious speech (pesuñña) to one who is fully ordained, saying: "The one named so-and-so says of you, 'He is a carpenter (koṭṭhaka), a remover of flower-refuse (pupphachaḍḍaka)'" — for each utterance there is an offense of pācittiya.
