[273] One fully ordained (upasampanna), having heard it from one fully ordained, conveys malicious tale-bearing (pesuñña) to one fully ordained, saying: "So-and-so says of you: 'He has committed a pārājika, he has committed a saṅghādisesa, he has committed a thullaccaya, he has committed a pācittiya, he has committed a pāṭidesanīya, he has committed a dukkaṭa, he has committed a dubbhāsita'" — there is an offense (āpatti) of pācittiya for each utterance.
