[272] One who is fully ordained (upasampanno), having heard [the words] of one fully ordained, conveys malicious tale-bearing (pesuñña) to one fully ordained, [saying]: "The one named so-and-so says of you: '[You are] free of lust, free of hatred, free of delusion'" — there is an offense of pācittiya for each utterance.
