[30] If he uses a robe subject to forfeiture (nissaggiya) without having forfeited it, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa).
When [the robe] is not apart, and he perceives it as apart, there is an offense of wrong-doing.
When it is not apart, and he is in doubt, there is an offense of wrong-doing.
When it is not apart, and he perceives it as not apart, there is no offense (anāpatti).
