[313] "Should tell" means: for one who says to a person not fully ordained (anupasampanna), "I attained (samāpajjiṃ) the three true knowledges (tisso vijjā)," "I am attaining," "I have attained," "I am an obtainer of the three true knowledges," "I have mastery," "the three true knowledges have been realized (sacchikatā) by me" — there is an offense (āpatti) of pācittiya.
