[142] Bhikkhus, the passing away (kālakiriyā) of one person is regretted by many people. Which one person? The Tathāgata, the Arahant, the Fully Self-Enlightened One (sammāsambuddha). The passing away of this one person, bhikkhus, is regretted by many people.
