[386] Bhikkhus, there are these two gifts (dāna). What two? The material gift (āmisadāna) and the gift of the Dhamma (dhammadāna). These, bhikkhus, are the two gifts. Of these two gifts, bhikkhus, this is the foremost, namely, the gift of the Dhamma.
