[399] Bhikkhus, there are these two searches (pariyesanā). What two? The search for material things (āmisapariyesanā) and the search for the Dhamma (dhammapariyesanā). These, bhikkhus, are the two searches. Of these two searches, bhikkhus, this is the foremost, namely, the search for the Dhamma.
