[388] (142) Bhikkhus, there are these two kinds of relinquishment (cāga). What two? The relinquishment of material things (āmisacāga) and the relinquishment of the Dhamma (dhammacāga). These, bhikkhus, are the two kinds of relinquishment. Of these two kinds of relinquishment, bhikkhus, this is the foremost, namely, the relinquishment of the Dhamma.
