[389] Bhikkhus, there are these two relinquishments (pariccāga). Which two? The relinquishment of material things (āmisapariccāga) and the relinquishment of the Dhamma (dhammapariccāga). These, bhikkhus, are the two relinquishments. Of these two relinquishments, bhikkhus, this is the foremost, namely, the relinquishment of the Dhamma.
