[72] Bhikkhus, I do not see even one other thing by which unarisen wholesome states arise, or arisen unwholesome states decline, so much as this, bhikkhus: good friendship (kalyāṇamittatā). Bhikkhus, for one who has a good friend, unarisen wholesome states arise and arisen unwholesome states decline.
