[59] Bhikkhus, I do not see even one other thing (dhamma) by which unarisen unwholesome states arise, or arisen wholesome states decline, so much as this, bhikkhus: heedlessness (pamāda). Bhikkhus, for one who is heedless, unarisen unwholesome states arise, and arisen wholesome states decline.
