[62] Bhikkhus, I do not see even one other thing (dhamma) on account of which unarisen wholesome states arise and arisen unwholesome states decline so much as this, bhikkhus: the arousing of energy (vīriyārambha). For one who has aroused energy, bhikkhus, unarisen wholesome states arise and arisen unwholesome states decline.
