[63] Bhikkhus, I do not see even one other thing on account of which unarisen unwholesome states arise, or arisen wholesome states decline, so much as this, bhikkhus: having many desires (mahicchatā). Bhikkhus, for one with many desires, unarisen unwholesome states arise and arisen wholesome states decline.
