[115] Bhikkhus, a bhikkhunī possessing five qualities is deposited in hell (niraya) as if brought and placed there. What five? She is stingy (macchariya) with regard to dwellings; she is stingy with regard to families; she is stingy with regard to gains; she is stingy with regard to praise (vaṇṇa); she is stingy with regard to the Dhamma. Bhikkhus, a bhikkhunī possessing these five qualities is deposited in hell as if brought and placed there. Bhikkhus, a bhikkhunī possessing five qualities is deposited in heaven (sagga) as if brought and placed there. What five? She is not stingy with regard to dwellings; she is not stingy with regard to families; she is not stingy with regard to gains; she is not stingy with regard to praise; she is not stingy with regard to the Dhamma. Bhikkhus, a bhikkhunī possessing these five qualities is deposited in heaven as if brought and placed there.
