[337] "Bhikkhus, without having abandoned six dhammas, one is incapable of realizing arahantship. Which six? Dullness (thīna), drowsiness (middha), restlessness (uddhacca), remorse (kukkucca), lack of faith (assaddhiya), and heedlessness (pamāda). Bhikkhus, without having abandoned these six dhammas, one is incapable of realizing arahantship.
"Bhikkhus, having abandoned six dhammas, one is capable of realizing arahantship. Which six? Dullness, drowsiness, restlessness, remorse, lack of faith, and heedlessness. Bhikkhus, having abandoned these six dhammas, one is capable of realizing arahantship."
