[1007] "It is just so, as you say; you speak the truth, O wise one. One condemned to death should not pay homage [to his slayer], nor should [the slayer] pay homage to the one condemned. How indeed could a man pay homage to, or exact homage from, one whom he wishes to kill? Such an act cannot be."
